First Steps

Step 1 – Select plan and pay

Within 24 hours of payment you will be sent an email with your new username and password as well as a link to our client portal. You will first arrive at the Ticket List screen. Here you can view your tickets, or create a New Ticket. The order in which you submit your tickets is the order in which they are worked on by the IP Unlimited team.

Step 2 – Create tickets

Illustration Ticket

In the subject line title your illustration appropriately. You can use our simple description box tools to upload images and describe what you want your patent artist to create. Alternatively, you can also use our templates below or create a document like a .pdf or .doc and upload it with all the instructions. Then select a category, in this case “Illustrations” and click submit. Your illustration ticket will be created and we will be notified. We also have example templates to reference in our templates page.

To avoid potential delays in completion of your ticket, it’s crucial that you submit documents containing precise visuals and clear examples of your desired outcome.

Search Ticket

In the subject line title your search appropriately. You can use our simple description box tools to describe your search or you can create a document like a .pdf or .doc and upload it with all the instructions. Then select a category, in this case “searches” and click submit. Your search ticket will be created and we will be notified.

Please note that we can only search with the information provided. The more information the more detailed our search can be. To avoid potential delays in completion of your ticket, it’s extremely important that the disclosure you provide at least details the components of the invention and how it’s used. 

Step 3 – Download deliverables

You will be notified by email of any changes to your tickets and when a ticket is closed you will be able to download your deliverables immediately through our client portal or simply through secure email.
